laicHa presents Desterrar a los poetas, a new studio album featuring eight tracks inspired by South American genres such as tango, zamba and bolero. The album embraces a fully organic and acoustic sound with orchestral arrangements, wind instruments, strings and percussion, alongside collaborations with renowned artists including Nacho Mastretta, Miryam Latrece and Diego Galaz.

Conceptually, the project revolves around Plato’s idea of banishing poets from the Republic, exploring the relationship between reason, art and emotion.

Live, laicHa will perform the album with a new trio featuring Silvia Von Nadie and Santi López, revisiting songs from previous records in a night full of live music, improvisation and special surprises.
