We use modern machinery in our laundries, thus reducing to the maximum the use of water and electricity. In both construction and management, we have sustainable buildings. We reduce the use of plastic in our amenities, our bath products are biodegradable, and our cleaning products are ecological. We encourage our guests to make responsible use of the laundry service, and we promote sustainable mobility. All the faucets in the shared areas have a device to regulate the flow of water. The electrical appliances consume energy efficiently. The paper we use is recycled, and the lighting is always LED. The wood we use bears the FSC and PEFC certification seals, which guarantees that it comes from controlled, sustainable forests.

Our support for ecology isn’t limited to our four walls. At Latroupe we support Kilometre Zero products, which not only reduces contamination but contributes to community development by supporting local businesses and products. *** In recent years we’ve become concerned about the air we breathe, and not just because of contamination. The ventilation systems in Latroupe hotels have been completely reconstructed in 2020/2021 so as to bring in exterior fresh air to all the rooms and common areas. In this way we assure that the optimum rates of air change constantly provide our guests with a safe oxygenated atmosphere. All the rooms are specifically equipped for the supply and extraction of air, in addition to their heating and air conditioning systems.
