J.J. Mali is a Dutch-Spanish musician currently based in Spain. He is strongly influenced by British, Irish, and North American folk music, which allows him to create intimate and immersive sounds. Originally a solo instrumentalist, mainly using the piano and guitar, his focus on vocals is not so much about storytelling as it is about creating nostalgic atmospheres. He is currently recording an album called Agua Viva.
