Catskills are a four-piece band based in Brussels, formed by Gregory Vandermeiren (vocals, guitar), Jorn Lelong (guitar), Ewoud Ceulemans (bass) and Joren Kippers (drums). Together they have been crafting their songs, taking inspiration from post-punk bands such as Fontaines D.C., Interpol and The National and post-rock acts such as Mogwai, but using these influences to find their own sound. Their wall of sound is decorated with intricate guitar parts; the hits of loudness are softened by soothing melodies. With a catalogue of songs that were born in a sweaty studio in Saint-Gilles, Catskills are now ready to take their songs to the stage.
