Well, we're going to give you a monument that you forgot to add, an icon of Barcelona, a meeting point and a place to enjoy the best atmosphere in one of the most incredible cities in the world; The Razzmatazz venue.
History of Sala Razzmatazz
Sala Razzmatazz began its history in the year 2000, and don't think that it started slowly, it arrived with a bang, making a bang on the table and stirring up the music scene in the city and the whole country.
Open every day of the week, it offered all its customers five different areas, with different music and atmospheres. Urban, rock, pop or electronic music among other types of music under the same roof.
It was the first venue to open with this concept in Spain. It started off very strong, and if we add to that the quality of the artists who visited it, its fame did not take long to arrive.
Its location, camouflaged among the industrial style of the area and in a building that could be a monument in itself, Sala Razzmatazz has been on the road for a quarter of a century, offering the best of the music industry and experiences that have to be experienced to be understood; from theme parties to galas, film shoots to fashion shows.
This concert hall, nightclub and meeting point, known to locals as Razz, is named after the song of the same name by the band Pulp. Its programme of artists from Wednesday to Saturday is as complete as you can imagine, so keep an eye on its website for all the latest news.
Artists of Sala Razzmatazz
As an authentic beacon that attracts talent on a national and international level, Sala Razzmatazz provides a stage for artists from all over the world, new promises or established names in their genre.
A clear example of this is that it was the first place where artists and groups of the stature of Florence and the Machine and Arctic Monkeys performed in our country.
If we talk about international names, some, and only some, of the artists who have played at one of its five venues are Coldplay, Blur, Kanye West, Smashing Pumpkins, Post Malone, Mika and Franz Ferndinand, who also made his debut in Spain at Sala Razzmatazz.
Sala Razzmatazz does not lose sight of local and national artists, and has been home to names like Bad Gyal, Mala Rodriguez, Morad, Estopa, Love of Lesbian, Lori Meyers, M-Clan, Elefantes, Fangoria, Manolo García and a long etcetera of talent.
